Toscolo - 2020 Chianti DOCG
First made in 1990. 100% Sangiovese that is fresh and lively with juicy cherry fruit and Sangiovese’s classic ‘bite’. Neil and Maria Empson, together with friend and star oenologist Franco Bernabei, work closely with a number of growers to style a compact range of wines representing the best of their terroir and price range. Their combined experience and expertise gives them access to a cross-section of Tuscany’s finest vineyards and the merits of chosen locations, combined with strict quality parameters, ensure consistent excellence with each vintage. Worlds Apart - 2023 Rites of Spring
A brand new wine for us - Old Vine McLaren Vale Grenache. You know how much McLaren Vale Grenache means to us, it’s a wine that is not only delicious and versatile, but shows place with incredible detail. This wine comes from Fiona Wood’s vineyard in the rolling sand dunes of McLaren Flat, planted in 1958 and managed with mountains of love and care. - Louis Schofield, Winemaker. 

Grape Dreams - 2022 Syrah Rosato
Hand harvested Syrah from Justin and Pip Jarrett's vineyard in Orange of NSW, a certified organic parcel. A bit over a tonne of grapes foot stomped and left on skins for 24 hours. Pressed off and with our usual minimal intervention, wild stainless tank ferment followed by 6 months in barrel. Savoury savoury cherry juice vibes. Tight, wound acidity and hints of white and black pepper. Delicious summer fruit forward beverage, chill right down and enjoy on a sunny day with friends

Momento Mori - 2022 The Incline
A wine that has become a very recognisable facet of the Momento Mori range. Made in homage to Danes grandmother, who grew up in a Coal mining settlement, it celebrates Heathcote fruit with a deeply savoury, rich expression. Black fruited, black pepper, and black olive tapenade. Write some music as you sip.
Dane and his wife Hannah make wines in Gippsland that feel like they reach up and touch the sky, bringing down soft handfuls of clouds with them. Wines that feel like they walk around barefoot, free. They are wines that ultimately feel like they have innate respect for the living. 

Les Fruits - 2023 Collines
A blend of D4V2 from our leased site in Ironbank and 114 and 115 from high up at Ashton. A very small amount of whole bunch with fairly vigorous ferments to blow off the reduction characteristic of the vintage. Aged in used hogsheads for 10 months. Medium density soft cherry red, the Ashton component significantly lightening the colour. Fairly savoury aromatic profile with moderate concentration of darker fruits and lots of earth and spice. As it warms more and more dark rose perfume comes up. The palate is fairly rich with a great all around texture and a well blended mix of darker and red fruit elements but the fresh acidity highlights the finer fruit and spice notes towards the finish. Tannins are present to support the richness. This will please nicely for the price! - Tim Stock, Winemaker

Poppelvej - 2021 'Panacea' Cabernet Blend
A tête-à-tête of Cab Sauv and Cab Franc making for a swishable little Claret type thing leading into the cooler months. Medium body smoothness and the best of the two varietals. Uffe Deichmann of Poppelvej Wines makes a lot of different wines in the Mclaren Vale from a range of vineyards across South Australia. All of them are really, really good and showcase just how spellbinding a single varietal wine can be in any style. We are very glad he moved here from Denmark.
