As kids, we remember lying on the grass after another backyard cricket game being told about a phantom bowler who would strike fear into any batsman as soon as he turned on his mark. The bowler would take a deep breath and steam would flare from his nostrils, his eyes would glow red, and the batter knew there was no escape.

So we're shocked, years later, that we're mates with our very own demon fast bowler, and he’s not scary at all!*

What is scary though, is getting special access to a new experimental NZ hop and ensuring we do it justice. Luckily, just like the Aussie cricket team, we think we have the best of the best, and our brewers have created a balanced, light, fluffy Hazy IPA that expertly displays everything NZH 109 from NZ Hops has to offer**.
