The region is a mountainscape, ancient soils, soft clean air and sprawling sunny days - near perfect vine conditions. Duncan and Anna Riederer create wines that have been certified organic but they experiment with more intensive, sustainable systems. They make everything from Grüner Veltliner to Vermouth, but the Rieslings and Pinot are where the personality shines most true.
