The Terroirs Project was conceived to make delicious and affordable wines from sustainable and organic practices in the vineyard and by means of low-intervention, chemical-free winemaking. All of the wines that make up the Terroirs Project are: Made from organically farmed fruit Naturally fermented with indigenous yeasts Made with minimal or zero sulphur Suitable for vegetarians and vegans. A collaboration with La Cave des Vignerons d’Estézargues, a co-operative cellar located near Avignon but one which takes a fundamentally different approach to the standard practices of cooperatives in France. A blend of Grenache, Cinsault, Carignan, Syrah fully destemmed, lightly crushed. Ripe red/dark fruit aromas and that characteristic garrigue and pepper notes. Lovely softness in the mouth with velvety tannins and confit fruits building across the palate, hints of tobacco and leather and a nice spine of acidity from the Syrah as well as some spicy blackcurrant fruit. - The Terroirs Project, Producer
