A really slippery and sensuous Valpolicella from the talented team at L'Arco. Cooked strawberries and rhubarb pie, smooth and slurpy like flying down a slippery dip mid-summer. A beautiful little introduction to Valpolicella – if you needed convincing! These are our favourite Italian wines to drink frequently, and certainly the ones to suit all at any dinner party. A medium bodied red for people in pursuit of smoothness and softness, but still complexity. SO wonderful if you’re craving something other than your go-to GSM or Shiraz. The L'Arco wine estate takes its name from an historic stone arch that is on the property; the “Arco di Giove”. It’s been there since the 1500’s. The winery was begun by Luca Fredigo, who studied under the legendary Veneto producer, Giuseppe Quintarelli. He was only 20, ambitious and passionate. He has seventeen acres of beautiful vineyards, within Valpolicella. These wines are a must try for people who adore richness, fruit and smoothness in their wines.
