Take yourself on a tour of Italy with these modern Italian classics. All reds. All built to keep you warm as as a hike through the mountains of Trentino-Alto Adige!

Poderi del Paradiso - 2022 Chianti Colli Sensi
Gone are the days where it was near impossible to tell what was in your bottle of Chianti and also the swing and miss risk of its quality. This wine from Poderi Del Paradiso is precisely what you want from an entry level Sangiovese: dark cherries that sneak around dried herbs and a touch of cedar. Smooth, medium bodied, tight finish. Makes sense the wine is this good as the fruit is sourced from an organic vineyard in Chianti’s most highly sought after sub-zone - Colli Senesi. Yum. Where’s the pizza?

Colomba Bianca - 2023 Nero D’Avola Granatay
Mmmm Sicily’s widely planted variety - Nero D’Avola - showcased in a way that celebrates the region. It’s dark fruit and forest, with hints of spice and sea, tell the history and tradition of the hills. A harmonious red with a good structure. Date night wine.

Umani Ronchi - 2022 Monepulciano D'Abruzzo DOC 'Podere'
First made in 1977, this Montepulciano is the ultimate value ‘pizza wine’, although it goes with just about anything. Highlighting the varietal characteristics (plum and morello cherry) with freshness (no oak), the result is a pleasing and versatile easy-to-drink wine.
