Made from 100% Cesenese Nero grapes, a native grape variety of our hills, which had been completely lost. Harvest takes place in late October, and the wine undergoes a long maceration on the skins. It is then aged in large 20-hectare barrels for 12 months before being bottled. The result is a bright and minerally wine, with notes of licorice and red fruits, which tends to lose color with age and develop aromas of sandalwood and spices.
