Tobala Reserva Mezcal
Bozal is an artisanal Mezcal handmade with wild, indigenous agave sourced from the steep hillsides of Oaxaca and Guerrero. Agave Tobala takes between 12-15 years to mature. It can also only grow from seeds and requires a lot of pinas to create a small batch of mezcal – it's incredible the mezcaleros are even able to produce enough for international distribution. This Tobala mezcal has been distilled in clay pot stills, the ancestral way. This is a magnetic mezcal, with aromas of melon and apricot. The palate is perfectly balanced with citrus fruits and earthy tones, underpinned by smoky shadows. Let it open up in the glass for a few minutes. The difference is worth it.
