Again from the Nova Vita vineyard in Kenton Valley. Harvested just after the green flavours havedisappeared – 12.1% alc/vol. Again from the Nova Vita vineyard in Kenton Valley. Harvested just after the green flavours have
disappeared – 12.1% alc/vol. Generous yields were offset by an abundance of flavour packed
small berries thanks to the hen and chicken set. Hand-harvested, destemmed and gently hand
plunged daily. Pressed once dry to retain freshness and minimise tannins and run to seasoned
barriques. Pale cherry red with a vibrant pink hue throughout. High toned raspberry and red
cherry, pink rose and chervil aromas. Medium with lovely juicy cherry, floral backdraft and some
tart raspberry and plum. Mild tannins are accentuated by the drying acidity but ultimately the
juicy, succulent fruit wins for attention.
