New wines from Uffe AKA Poppelvej! Rookie is a lighter, semi carbonic expression of McLaren Vale Grenache. Early, hand-picked Grenache 80% de-stemmed and the rest fermented as whole bunch. All foot stomped daily, and aged on lees for 5 months in neutral oak. Although bright fruit dominant, the soft alpine herbs help to round out the palate and provide elegance.
