We are excited to get an allocation of this mere 2400 bottles made of this lovely Erbaluce. Perhaps even more exciting is that we are not just the first Australian importer of this wine, we are in fact Erbalù's very first importer in the world. The wines formerly only sold within Italy. Bianch ch’a lus in Piedmontese means white that shines. This perfectly describes the colour of this wine and the grapes that shine when exposed to the sunlight. In these vineyards, the pergola rows are set in a way that guarantees the maximum exposure to the sun. The grapes are farmed organically with no use of herbicides, chemical fertilisers nor pesticides. The grapes get fermented at controlled temperatures in stainless steel tanks yielding a splendid yellow wine with greenish reflections that has a fresh scent with firm acid. Idiosyncratic but beautiful wine.
