Mezcalosfera de Mezcaloteca is the brand crated by the famous bar in Oaxaca City called Mezcaloteca. Mezcaloteca is a mecca for all things mezcal. A educational experience rather than just a bar. Mezcalosfera de Mezcaloteca is the brand crated by the famous bar in Oaxaca City called Mezcaloteca. Mezcaloteca is a mecca for all things mezcal. A educational experience rather than just a bar. All the agaves in the bar are hand picked and sourced directly from producers.

This Papalote was made by Tomas Guerrero in Tepehuixco, state of Guerrero in August 2019. Utilizing only Cupreata Agaves harvested above 1,550m, roasted in a conical pit oven, crushed with a mill and open fermented in Acayahuite (Mexican White Pine Wood) vats with wild yeasts. This spirit was double distilled in a copper alembic still resulting in 179 litres of aguardiente de agave, choosing not to certify it with CRM as a mezcal.
