An extended collaboration with the, now semi- retired, great Burgundian vigneron Dominique Derain. Grenache from old vines planted on schist high in the hills behind Collioure next to Banyuls, fermented in whole bunches for one week before being pressed into concrete for 8 months. Light and lifted with wild brambly strawberries and bitter herbs. Beautifully refreshing, mineral driven and highly drinkable. Burgundy from Banyuls! Notes thanks to Mesa.
