The Grenache for the ’23 ‘In Motion’ was grown by the Watkins Family at Langhorne Creek. 65% of the fruit remained in whole bunch form with the rest being gently hand destemmed then layered on top of the bunches in a stainless steel tank, sealed shut and left for 5 weeks. Everything was then transferred to the basket press for gentle pressing before going back into stainless tank for 8 months. Everything was then transferred to the basket press for gentle pressing before going back into stainless tank for 8 months. The result is an incredibly pure, single-single site wine giving you all the details of the superb growing season that was 2023. Aromas of black cherry, bubblegum and forest floor abound. They lead you into a medley of black, blue and red fruits with some crunchy texture and lots of freshness.
