Nouvelle Mistelle

Well this is fun. An Aussie take on the forgotten French aperitif – Mistelle. Traditional Mistelle is made in Normandy from apple, pears and grapes. Rhubi's mistelle is made in Victoria from fresh rhubarb juice – call it an homage. It's a fusion of fermented rhubarb juice with a juniper spirit, herbal French gentian, mandarin and grapefruit rind. The ultimate aperitif, crafted to be simply mixed with soda for the perfect cocktail.
