Sourced from the 2014-planted Bedford Vineyard, on the western side of the valley. Abel, 777 and 942 clones on mostly free-draining, stony, gravelly soils. Hard-harvested, 100% destemmed and wild fermented with twice daily hand-plunging. 14 months' maturation in French oak, 15% new. Unfined and unfiltered. Light ruby in colour with bright pink reflections.
