From the Ceres Hill vineyard, planted on own roots by the Margans in 1998 with cuttings taken from the 1960’s Montrose vineyard in Mudgee, established by Carlo Corino. Red, volcanic clay, managed under regenerative and organic principles since 2022. Fully destemmed and fermented in 2T open fermenters for 14 days. Maturation for six months in seasoned French oak puncheons prior to bottling. - Ollie Margan, Winemaker.
