New wines from the one and only James Erskine AKA Jauma are here! Chenin grown on sand is a magnificent thing and 1000 Fires is a cuvee that always exemplifies it. This year the make up is 95% Chenin from Lulu's Blewitt Springs block and 5% Sauvignon Blanc from Jim's Peter's Creek block. Chenin is all destemmed and pressed to a mixture of barrel and tank, where as the Sauv is fermented on skins for two weeks and pressed to barrel. Vibrant and bright acid line.
