2023 Musqué chardonnay

From the Osawa vineyard in Mangatahi. Half of the fruit comes from the muscat-like 809 clone, which was macerated for one week, with the other half comprising the more linear 121 and 15 clones, which were direct-pressed, before blending for elevage. A deliciously aromatic expression of chardonnay, albeit still with precisely-balanced tension and drive. - Amy Hopkinson, Winemaker
