Scary Gully is a south-east facing vineyard at 620m elevation, where 12-year-old GMI98 clone vines are rooted in light loamy clay over sandstone, with schist and quartz rubble. Made from 100% whole cluster fruit, the wine was pressed and settled in tank overnight before being fermented and aged for eight months in a combination of terracotta egg and old oak. It retains 9g/L of residual sugar and has 10.5% abv. They (and we) love riesling, simple. Enjoy. – Gareth & Rainbo Belton, Winemaker.
