The colour gives up right away that we are dealing with more maturity. The nose is decadent and at times a bit tired, but somehow keeps you smelling. Like a 63 year old Republican with a funny sign at some random rally in Kentucky. Maceration is more evident in the palate while the tannins grab your cheeks from the inside and bully you, like that weekend in Tijuana 30 years ago, that the man can’t let go. Less clarity, more matter, more oil, less verticality, less salt. Maraschino is the word of the year, here. Your new cocktail menu: Martini, Negroni, Old Fashioned and Fuoripista 2022.
