2024 Clover Pinot Noir

The Clover Pinot Noir is sourced from a tiny 0.5 hectares of vines on an east facing slope in the COB Clover vineyard. The site is home to a patchwork of clones, including 777, 667 Martini and D5V12. The fruit is picked and sorted by hand. The Clover Pinot Noir is sourced from a tiny 0.5 hectares of vines on an east facing slope in the COB Clover vineyard. The site is home to a patchwork of clones, including 777, 667 Martini and D5V12. The fruit is picked and sorted by hand. A majority is destemmed (10% bunches) and after three weeks fermentation, the wine matured for 11 months in a single 1800-litre foudre. The wine is bright, acid driven and red fruited with cherries and spice on the nose.
