2023 Basket Town Pinot Noir

Like the Basket Town Chardonnay, the Pinot Noir is a blend of small parcels of fruit from a selection of sites in the Piccadilly Valley. This year combines fruit from the Commune of Buttons estate vineyard (clones 667 and Martini) and Ridge Road Vineyard (clones 114 and 115). The fruit was harvested by hand in late March, sorted in the winery and chilled before fermentation with 10% whole bunches. This year combines fruit from the Commune of Buttons estate vineyard (clones 667 and Martini) and Ridge Road Vineyard (clones 114 and 115). The fruit was harvested by hand in late March, sorted in the winery and chilled before fermentation with 10% whole bunches. Maturation occurred over six months on full lees in old French barriques and hogsheads. The wine then settled in tank for four months before release. - Imbibo, Distributor.
