2022 Vinho Verde

A chance purchase of this wine (albeit sporting a different name) is where this all started. I may have drunk all of two or three Vinho Verde in my time and the fact they weren't so memorable probably says a lot. But this! In all it's citrusy, saline, floral, electrifying goodness.....it had me hooked. It was, quite simply, THE perfect summer wine. Fast forward to mid 2022, some emails to and fro, a Zoom call with the lovely Antonio Montiero at Quinta do Ermizio and Vinho Electrico was born. A blend of Louriero (80%) and Trajadura (20%), it's a wine that is just bursting out of the bottle. Low in alcohol and bottled with the slightest tingle of Co2 it's outrageously refreshing.
