Pierre Fenals is a bit of an icon. A scientist. A prophet. A true Burgundian. His wines are elegant, complex, detailed and full of energy. Chardonnay here from 50-60 year old vines and grown on limestone soil. It is left on lees for fourteen months without any battonage. So so pure. Fresh, lively and perfect balance of texture and tension.
