From the Willow Grove vineyard, a north facing hill of red volcanic and Grey Dermosol soil. Planted in 2001 on own roots and never irrigated. Wild fermented in four 400L puncheons. Went through a slow but full malolactic fermentation. This fruit has particularly pulpy berriers, which leads to heaps of solids in the ferments that builds texture and density in the finished wine.
