On the palate it's all spices - szechuan on juniper berry. Craft distilled gin from Japan, home to some of the most masterful and purposeful of makers. Everything at Tatsumi is made by Tatsumi-san, by hand, as a one-man operation. This gin is made with just one botanical, juniper, on two shochu bases: chicory and sake lees. It is unique in this sense, uncluttered with botanicals and instead showcasing purity and artistry in distillation.
