Taka was a lockdown project from couple Niyoka and Vincent (Pawa Catering) discovering that alongside their love of food and using these ingredients in cooking, there was definitely a place for them in what we drank too. Made at award-winning distillery/co-op Gypsy Hub, the Taka recipe was formulated using Indigenous plants that, with their unique profiles and robustness, make perfect sense for distillation. It is a beautiful window into the botanical diversity that is Australia.
