2020 Bourgogne Rouge 'Les Crays'

40 year old Pinot Noir vines, from chalky soils in Macon. Elevaged 12 months in barrel then 12 months in foudre. No sulfur additions.

Fragrant red fruits and roses. The palate has finesse, fine tannins and red cherries. Forrest floor moves into concentrated strawberries. Silken tannins and delicate minerality. A wine that loves oxygen, it builds and weaves and brings utter joy.
