Rochefort 6
The flagship beer for Trappiste Rochefort. Started in 1595 at Abbaye Notre-Dame de Saint Remy Rochefort in Belgium, the brewery underwent re-invention in 1952 with the construction of the Cathedral of Beer. The first beer being brewed in the cathedral being Rochefort 6.
Amber in colour with a white head this belgian double is burst forth with notes of red berries and spices all supported by a caramel malt backbone. Best served at 10-12°C.
