93% Sangiovese, 7% Canaiolo. Gaiole in Chianti, Tuscany, Italy. Ruby red. Initial hints of "mammola" violet typical of Sangiovese. Excellent acidic-tannin balance with a slight aftertaste of wild liquorice. 18 months, of which 12-14 months i n oak barrels and 2 months in stainless steel tanks.
