It’s so pure, with primary red fruit leading the way and then unfurling into forest and porcini mushroom. It’s Aussie Burgundy. We said it. Australia has so many wonderful, world class wine makers. It’s truly astonishing. Here is a classic. A true example of sustainable production with classic palate in mind. Jennifer and John Nagorcka started out in 1990 with a small planting using conventional Australian viticultural practices and varietal selection. However, noticing the movements of the climate in Europe, they changed their ways. They grow Pinot Noir, Riesling, Semillon and Shiraz. No irrigation and no synthetic fungicides, pesticides or fertilisers are used. They are also certified biodynamic by Demeter.
