There's a brooding quality about the wine that demands close inspection. It is satiny smooth, tight and fine, but displaying its bright blackcurrant, dark liqueur cherry, blackberry, bramble flavours that are deep, satisfying and long. Produced from 100% estate grown Cabernet Sauvignon (85%) and Cabernet Franc (15%) Matured exclusively in French oak barriques (45% new) for 18 months. - Jeff Grosset, Winemaker.
