Chenas is our favourite. Gamay enjoyed a little cold carbonic maceration, revealing a enchanting expression of fine red-fruited Gamay. Robert’s a winner. The first thing you notice is the perfume. Cherries and rose petals, wild blackberries and anise. Florals take the lead like you’ve walked into a room full of promise. Feels like your favourite florist would love this wine. Raphaël is a 4th generation winemaker in Beaujolais, now looking after some gorgeous sites with older vines that were planted by her grandfather. The wines in their youth are magnetic - fun and approachable but not without complexity. The wines from the more prestigious sites are age worthy and definitely conversation starters.
