Elegant and lifted wines, with strawberries, red flowers and subtle spices on the nose. We love it’s pretty Cote de Beaune Pinot and almost Volnay-esque personality. Medium bodied wine with a savoury and complex mouthfeel. Expect more red berries like on the nose as well as black berries and soft tannins. Lovely finish that make it a classic Burgundy wine with beautiful subtle earthy feel from great Burgundy style from the past. Once again at Mosaique we love a Volnay and think this Santenay a great and affordable substitute; if like us you like this style. - Mosaique Wines, Importer.
