"Bordeaux blend of Cabernet Sauvignon (45%), Merlot (55%) grown on gravel and clay. Over delivering Margaux, those Margaux we want to drink and open a second bottle at the table. 'Nout' is the goddess of the sky in Egyptian mythology, they choose this name for this cuvee to connect with the biodynamic farming they practice at Clos du Jaugueyron. This cuvee is produced from 3.75 hectares, with 8,000 vines per hectare, most of the vines are 30 years old and some 10 years old. Yields are low with an average of 22 hl / ha. Grapes are hand harvested in small crates, inclduing sorting in the vineyard. No foulage or no added yeast. Fermentation in concrete tanks. Aging in a reductive environment for 12 months in barrels and foudre of 12 hl, then 10 months in concrete tanks before bottling. Light filtration if needed, low sulfur."- Importer Notes
