'My 2022 Pinot Noir is 2/3 Huon Valley and 1/3 Derwent Valley, from Estate Lubiana family vineyards. The wine is made from a mixture of whole bunch (Derwent) and whole berry (Huon), there is a gentle fermentation and long elevage in 228L barrels with 15% new French oak. 'My 2022 Pinot Noir is 2/3 Huon Valley and 1/3 Derwent Valley, from Estate Lubiana family vineyards. The wine is made from a mixture of whole bunch (Derwent) and whole berry (Huon), there is a gentle fermentation and long elevage in 228L barrels with 15% new French oak. This resulted in a wine with fresh notes of raspberry, wild blueberries, cherries and pomegranate, forest floor and spice, there is more acid than the previous vintage and grippier tannins. Last year the Pinot Noir was very approachable on release, this year the wine is tighter and will reward the customer with cellaring, if you choose to drink now I would recommended decanting it. Less production than 2021 so don't miss out and order now!'
