2021 White Wolf of Cumbria Rose
Wild berries jump around your mouth like bouncy balls. So fragrant and lively, this dry rose. Bright and boisterous, with a savoury side. If you like pink, or pink wine, or pink flamingos, then this is for you.
A blend of 70% Tempranillo and 30% Shiraz, all handpicked and pressed to old oak puncheons and stainless steel. Left on solids for 5 months until bottling. Unfined, unfiltered. The Temp is from Topper’s Mountain Vineyard in New England, where vines sit on deep, free-draining red volcanic soils called Krasnozems. The Shiraz component came from Emu Swamp, planted on quartz-rich, permeable soils farmed sustainably by Steve Mobbs and Nadja Wallington.
