This Mourvedre has gone to sleep for a couple of years to unwind, and with that there’s a very pleasant little wine that’s woken up. The result is soft and perfumed, savoury black fruit, encircled with velvetty tannins. The result is soft and perfumed, savoury black fruit, encircled with velvetty tannins. Varietally a show off but also hand in hand with being delicious, the gateway for anyone to take a walk down the natural side. Ah lovely Dave Geyer. One of the young winemakers and viticulturalists that are dedicated to bringing fun and also sustainable practice to the Barossa. He makes almost a ridiculous amount of wine under many monikers (you may recognise him as the Yetti from Yetti and the Kokonut) but Geyer is his personal label.
