Geyer - NV Rouge

The ‘Yetti’ of Yetti & the Kokonut, Dave Geyer also makes wine as Geyer Wine Co from old, often neglected vines around the Barossa and Eden Valley. Throughout his career he’s worked with a bunch of like-minded producers who value sustainability and minimal intervention, including legends like Lammershoek in Swartland and Matassa in France, as well as Torbreck and Spinifex back home. Dave's NV red blend takes us on a vinous journey through time. One third is his 2018 Pinot Meunier in hogshead, one third is 2019 whole bunch Semillon in puncheon and the remaining third is 2020 whole bunch Cabernet Franc. Wines were racked off lees and settled in stainless, then blended to bottle after Cab Franc spent 6 months on solids. No fining or filtration. Together, these different vintages sing a harmonic tune – as if they were always meant to be together. Swimming with uicy red fruits, this is your new favourite food 'n friends wine.
