A merry medley of 45% Cinsault, 39% Grenache & 16% Mourvedre from the Barossa Valley – the Ahrens's Vine Vale property (certified biodynamic), plus a touch of Ebenezer fruit from the Hoffmann vineyard.
Dry (actually) rosé direct pressed Grenache and Mourvedre and the Cinsault is left on skins for 12-24 hours. Turkish delight, vanilla, lychee and spice from the Cinsault, rasberry, red apple skin and strawberry from the Grenache. The first vintage with Mouverdre brings a peach ice tea feeling with a lick of mulberry. Touch of amaro-like spice and glazed citrus peel to finish off. CIAO!
