Made from 100% estate grown fruit, this is from Castelli di Jesi, the best area for the Verdicchio variety, located in the larger region of Le Marche on the Adriatic coast of Italy. Winemaker Natalino Crognaletti farms organically with biodynamic practices and specialises in Verdicchio. The vines average 30 years of age, with some up to 100 years old, making wines of incredible concentration. Vigna di Gino is named after Natalino’s father, ‘Gino’, and planted with the carefully selected clones his father spent a lifetime studying. Natalino, together with his mother, Vera Biondini, manage the vineyards located in Montecarotto. Natalino lives on the estate with his wife, son, mother and the numerous farm animals. His family has been making wine since the early 1600’s.
