Hello Barbera! You are beautiful! Long, very fruity, generous, deep, concentrated with superb acidity resulting from harvesting at moderate maturity. A wine that effortlessly straddles serious and joyful.

Born, bred and based in Savoie, studying all over with some of the greats but returning in 2004, Jean-Yves is patiently reviving ancient, forgotten vineyards in the French Alps. He tends his vineyards biodynamically, working across several micro-parcels containing Mondeuse, Jacquere, Altesse, and Roussanne. His vines are over a century old, and the incline of the vineyards in this region mirror something like Mosel, one is rather abseiling, rather than just grape-tending. Fruit is all fermented naturally with no additives, expressing truthfully the amazing ancient Alpine terroir. Since 2017 he has been experimenting with fruit from Northern Italy too, making for an increasingly exciting array of releases each year.
