Pinot Noir from the Sur la Côte lieu-dit. 20-40 year old vines grown on grey marl and clay/loam soils. Soft and sensuous in colour, aroma creeping out like steam from hot tea. André-Jean Morin and his wife Héléana have been only making wine under this label for 10 years, but André-Jean’s family has been farming and selling fruit in Arbois since 1704. They look after 12 hectares in the tiny town of Arbois, the oldest vines planted in 1939. Some of the most prized fruit in all the Jura, fabled and famed by other local vignerons who purchase from the couple. Jura nerds, get some!
