The name is derived from \"guiguer”, which means to jump. from red marl vineyards in Pupillin it was harvested on 19 September and 100%  destemmed. It spent 3 weeks being macerated with pumping over once a day and a light punching down. Aged predominantly in tank (90%) unusually a small proportion was also aged in old barrels. It was bottled without filtration after 9 months. The ABV is quite high (14.1%) but there is still noticeable acidity. It has no additions and, despite being the glou glou Trousseau, this vintage particularly, has potential to age.
