2022 Basketolo Nebbiolo

"The long and even ripening conditions in 2022 provided the perfect backdrop for the late-ripening Nebbiolo grape. The fruit was harvested on 25th April, a whole month after the last of the Commune Chardonnay came off the vines. The fruit was picked in the cool early morning and destemmed by hand into an open-top jarrah fermenter. The wine was pumped over twice daily for three weeks, then pressed to two 500-litre barrels to mature for 11 months." – Commune of Buttons
