In 1996 John and Nicole Bojanowski, a young Franco-American couple, purchased Clos de Gravillas in the Minervois region of southwestern France. Perched high on a plateau in a national park between the St. Chinian and Minerve canyons, their 8.5ha vineyard is farmed organically and everything is done by hand – from vineyard to vinification. This light, refreshing white is made with Terret Bourret, an ancient varietal from Languedoc. Floral, pollen-y aromas with hints of sea, and a palate of summery fruits and minerals. It tastes like the feeling of a sunset glow on the nape of your neck, y’know?!
