Sylvie & Thierry Klok-de Visser started their adventure in 2019 when they moved to their domaine in Lantignié, Beaujolais after years of restaurateuring in the Netherlands.

With a deep respect for nature, they have a homeopathic touch, collecting plants and herbs around the estate to make plant based tea infusions that make the vines healthier and stronger. They let the cycles of the moon decide when to bottle and press, and how long the wines should macerate. Sylvie and Thierry work with only indigenous yeasts and the least amount of intervention possible. 

This Gamay is 70% aged in used Burgundy barrels for 8 months, then 30% aged in stainless steel, so it has a nice amount of funk and is deliciously aromatic. It has notes of black fruit and spices. A decanter may come in handy if you want to enjoy this one right away.
