Young vines can often be overly ambitious and unbalanced, but as come of age, their canopies fill out, bunches become consistent and vineyard flavour becomes more distinct. The K1 vineyard is home to one of the oldest plantings of Grüner In the country, whilst 2008 may seem recent, these are old vines In an Australian Grüner context. The wine has a confidence, strength and power that only comes from wine grown from a well establish vineyard. The colour is bright green with a touch of shiny gold.
