Ngeringa Ngarto – 2019 Field Blend
NGARTO is the grapechild of mates Erinn Klein (Ngeringa) and Brendan Cato (Carto Wines). Their toothsome '19 field blend is crafted with grapes from the biodynamic Summit and Rufus vineyards in Mt Barker Summit, hand harvested in February 2019 and co-fermented for 5 days with native yeasts. Wine was matured in old French oak for 8 months and then slept for 6 months in bottle. Unfined, unfiltered. Quite simply, this is a beautiful wine.
